The mission of the As Told By Foundation is to increase literacy rates by providing elementary-aged children with free access to culturally relevant literature that fosters literacy through representation and empowers students to see themselves in the stories they read.​​

Our vision is to cultivate a future where every child has access to stories that reflect their identity, spark a love of reading, and nurture them into literate leaders.
